Wang Injury Especially Painful for Ken "Lou" "HallA season that once had great promise will now have to somehow proceed without the
once rock-solid Wang. Last week Wang suffered a lower extremity injury while trying to
score suddenly from second base. Wang did score that night but now he and all his fans
are paying the price.
Owner Ken "Lou" Hall echoed team sentiments, "I just can't imagine going the entire
summer without Wang. The young guys are just going to have to work that much harder.
But it's not easy for them to see their leader go down. Since the beginning of spring Wang
has led this staff, and the young guys marveled at his filthy stuff and tireless work ethic."
"It's just tough to watch" continued a distraught Hall, "We have to put Wang in a boot
for six weeks." While he could not directly be reached for comment, Hall speculated on
what Wang must be thinking. "If he knew all the hassle that it was gonna cause, I think
Wang would have just stayed at third."
