Getting Set for 2012
Listening to first Spring Training game of the year... Sox and Twins on the Minnesota radio station and got a little freaked out to hear Corey Provis for the Twins! How is Ueck going to stand it being without both me and Provis this year?
Checked the news on the Sox... man, what a gossip column on those blogs! This is going to be a circus all year. I'm not sure I'll be able to stand it. :(
At any rate, the familiar buzz of radio baseball... the sun is shining... got Opening Day on my calendar... flared by Tacoby... base hit... Boom.

Are We Not Sox?
OK, I've chosen. I was very close to picking the Royals for this year but with the Mexecutioner going down, the "fun" level seems kind of limited for KC. So, I'm going with the Red Sox. Why? Well, for one reason, this might be the only time in a long time I get to use the "Didn't make the playoffs last year" rule for the Sox, especially since Czar Bud has decreed that five teams make the playoffs every year from now on. Also, I just haven't had time to research as I've been kind of busy with other plans. Am I cheating a little bit since I already kind of root for the Sox? Yeah, maybe. But, if nothing else, after last year's epic collapse and bringing in Bobby Valentine and saying goodbye to Theo Epstein, they will definitely fit my other rule of "looking to have an interesting season!" We play ball in 12 days!
