OK here's what I think would be fair for holds between AL and NL teams. From the end of the regular season up until the publication of Scoresheet lists, your players are still on their previous year's team. From the day that Scoresheet publishes their player lists - your team changes - any guys you had on your opposite league team are now on the team for whichever league Scoresheet designates, ie
- November 1 - Vlad Guerrero is on the Crooked K's - Lou's NL team. The K's are free to trade him to any other NL No Glory team and he can be held by the Crooked K's.
- December 1 - Vlad Guerrero signs with the Seattle Mariners. The Crooked K's STILL OWN HIM. He can be traded to any other NL No Glory team, but he likely won't be HELD by the K's.
- January 15 - Scoresheet lists come out and Vlad Guerrero is listed on the AL list as a member of the Seattle Mariners. On that day, he becomes the property of the Whistles Go Woo. The Whistles can trade him to any other AL No Guts team or hold him for next season.
- February 3 - The Mariners trade Vladi to the Florida Marlins. Vladi is still an AL No Guts player and stays on the Whistles Go Woo. Next year, the K's could pick him up once the new lists get published by Scoresheet.
I hope that's clear. We'll have the same rule in place for our minor leagues. This year's AL No Guts minor league draft, however, will be from scratch. There won't be any holds this year.
