After another couple of weeks of blow-out victories and squeaker losses, we are getting more variance with actual records in the AL vs. first order Pythagorean standings. It's nice to see that Matt's great season is no fluke and his best-in-the-league record is actually less than his Pythagorean. In fact all of the Fielder seems to be on the short-end of the stick against the other division, with one notable exception. The losers so far are myself (-7), Matt (-2), Ken (-2), Lou (-2), and Slave (-1). the winners are Randy (+7), Carl (+3), and Jeff (+3). It will be interesting to see if this balances out in the second half of the year.
