Magic Number: 8, Games Remaining: 13
I went to bed before the game ended last night. Sounds like I missed a good ending. I left with them down 1-0, having made a bunch of errors and having little offensive success, and Latroy walking the leadoff hitter in the 6th because Granky threw too many pitches.
Solo jacks by Big Prince and Braun tied and won the game. So, yippee!
Buccos had a chance to beat the Cardinals but Joel Hanrahan (who really shouldn't be pitching right now) and Pedro Sirocco or whatever (who really shouldn't be playing shortstop or bunting) managed to Bucco-up another Cardinals win. Still, it might not matter!
